Welcome to the Rochette's website

For 70 years, Raymond Rochette (1906-1993)  painted every day

with emotion the scenes of life that surrounded him, in particular the landscapes of the hills and valleys of a region where he lived :

the Morvan.  But, he was mainly the  painter of Le Creusot, impressed by the metallurgy and steel factories where man appeared tiny in the midst of a world of enormous machines where colors, noise and fire mingled.
